Welcome to the Cortona Academy and TLC Tutoring, the ultimate private
education on the East Coast, where parents, not administrators, choose
the schedule, teachers, courses and class size best suited to their child’s
needs.  The choice is yours.

Founded in 1992, Cortona Academy remains the only program of its kind
to provide those in grades 8 through 12 a choice of group and one-on-one
classes (our MAGIC) so that they may work with our professors for remediation
or acceleration and enrichment.  Thus, students may do two years in one,
make-up for poor GPAs, and reach ultimate potential by being given the
opportunity to work with some of the best teachers, scientists,
engineers, writers, and computer scientists in the DC area, all within a
structured, state-of-the-art learning environment.

Our no-fail, potential-based philosophy of education is geared to each student’s
educational needs, interests and abilities.  Our JOB is to insure your child’s success.
